The edit post feature is there to allow members to edit mistakes, such as spelling mistakes. In order to protect the forum archives and to stop spam from being injected into old posts, standard members are able to edit their post up to 5mins after posting. (Currently Premium Members are able to edit a full 48hours after posting.)

Members are discouraged from removing their posts or editing them completely from their original form hours or days after posting, this is because many members read old topics, and it is a shame if information or part of a conversation is missing.

Please think before you post, if you become paranoid and then edit/delete all of your messages it ruins the achieved topics. Please note that after the edit period posts will only be removed or edited in very limited situations. To avoid security concerns about something you have posted please do not post any information about your real identity or your location. Photos or information containing information that can be deemed dangerous to your security will be removed at the request of that member, e.g. photos containing photos of the member or of their car registration or property etc.

Posts can't be deleted, and members who wish to delete their account, at request, their account will be moved the the deactivated member group, and they will be unable to login or post. The forum archives though, for the benefit of the members will be preserved.
